Music & Worship Arts

The music ministries of Redford Aldersgate focus on Christ-centered music, fellowship, friendship and most importantly the sharing of the gospel of Christ through music in worship and special musical events. It is our prayer that everyone who participates in the music ministries of Redford Aldersgate is challenged to grow in Christ and to experience God's unconditional love through the love of music that we all share.

The Bible tells us to "make a joyful noise to the Lord." Whether you are a professional musician or just a music lover, we invite you to make a joyful noise with us.
 

Chancel Choir

Meets Thursdays, 6:30PM

Provides leadership in our 9:30AM traditional-format worship service.  Adults and high school youth.  New members are always welcome.

Meets Wednesdays, 5:30PM

Participates in worship once a month.  Adults and high school youth.  Beginner and experienced bell ringers welcome.

Meets Wednesdays, 7:00PM

Leads the 11AM contemporary worship service.  Adults and high school youth; vocalists and instrumentalists of all kinds are welcome.

Meets Sunday mornings at the close of 9:30 Sunday school.

Christmas Eve Musical

Rehearses Sundays Nov. 8 - Dec. 20, noon.

Leads the 5:30PM Family Christmas Eve worship. Children and youth of all ages are invited to participate.

Responsible for the sound board and the PowerPoint presentation during the 9:30 and 11AM worship services. New members to this support team are always welcome.

Additional Ways to Serve

Redford Aldersgate is always looking for additional ways to serve the Lord through music and the arts. Soloists, musical ensembles of all kinds and musical styles, instrumentalists, liturgical dancers, and visual artists are all encouraged to share their God-given gifts in praise to our audience of One.
